Project 366, Day 17: Yellow

The daffodil is against a yellow piece of card, and I got very lucky with the sun streaming in through the window creating very strong light and patterns on the wall behind. This meant that shadows looked interesting, and I think, create the look I was going for.

I used my 100mm macro lens and a very wide aperture (f/2.8) to make the rest of the flower blur into the background and also add to the look.
